Directions

Best-Ever Brownies
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 13×9×2-inch baking pan with parchment paper, extending paper over edges of pan. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
  2. Place butter in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH for 30 to 45 seconds or just until melted, stirring halfway through. If necessary, continue microwaving and stirring in 10-second intervals until melted.
  3. Stir sugar and cocoa into melted butter; cool slightly. Add eggs, one at a time, beating with a wooden spoon until combined. Add the vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, salt and baking powder and add to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Spread batter in prepared baking pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean (do not overbake or brownies will be dry).
  6. Cool brownies in pan on a wire rack. Use paper to lift brownies from pan. Cut into squares.

Candy Bar Brownies
  1. Prepare and bake Best-Ever Brownies as directed, except remove from oven 5 minutes before fully baked. Top with Snickers® chocolate candy bars, cut into ½-inch pieces. Lightly press candy into brownies.
  2. Return brownies to oven and continue baking until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool brownies as directed. Use paper to lift brownies from pan; cut into squares.

Coconut-Stuffed Brownies
  1. Prepare batter for Best-Ever Brownies as directed. Divide the batter in half; spread one portion of the batter in the prepared baking pan; set aside.
  2. Set aside 2 tablespoons coconut from 1 (14-ounce) bag flake sweetened coconut. In a small bowl combine remaining coconut and 1 can sweetened condensed milk. Spoon coconut mixture in small spoonfuls on top of batter in pan; carefully spread to cover batter. Spread remaining portion of brownie batter on top of coconut filling; bake as directed.
  3. Meanwhile, in a small nonstick skillet, toast reserved 2 tablespoons coconut on LOW for 3 to 5 minutes or until coconut turns light brown; cool.
  4. Remove brownies from oven. While warm, top brownies with 6 milk chocolate candy bars. When melted, spread chocolate to cover brownies; sprinkle with toasted coconut. Cool brownies as directed. Use paper to lift brownies from pan; cut into squares.

Dipped Brownies
  1. Prepare, bake and cool Best-Ever Brownies as directed. Use paper to lift brownies from pan; cut into squares, then into triangles. Place brownies on a tray and freeze.
  2. Place 1 cup each white chocolate melting wafers and dark chocolate melting wafers in separate microwave-safe bowls. Microwave until melted and smooth, stirring every 30 seconds.
  3. Dip half of the brownies in each bowl of chocolate; place on a wire rack. Immediately top with sprinkles. Let stand until chocolate is set, remove from rack.

Pecan Brownies
  1. Prepare batter for Best-Ever Brownies as directed. Stir in coarsely chopped pecans. Spread batter in prepared baking pan. Bake and cool as directed.
  2. Spread with chocolate frosting. Use paper to lift brownies from pan; cut into squares. Garnish with pecan halves; lightly sprinkle with unsweetened cocoa powder.

Black Forest Brownies
  1. Prepare batter for Best-Ever Brownies as directed. Divide the batter in half; spread one portion of the batter in the prepared baking pan. Spoon canned cherry pie filling in small spoonfuls on top of the batter; carefully spread to cover batter. Spread remaining portion of brownie batter on top of cherry pie filling. Bake and cool as directed.
  2. Spread with chocolate frosting. Use paper to lift brownies from pan; cut into squares. Garnish with additional cherry pie filling and chocolate shavings, if desired.

Salted Caramel Pretzel Brownies
  1. Prepare batter for Best-Ever Brownies as directed. Spread batter in prepared baking pan. Top with mini pretzel twists. Bake and cool as directed.
  2. Meanwhile, place caramels and heavy whipping cream in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH at 30-second intervals until melted, stirring after each time. Drizzle caramel mixture over brownies; sprinkle with sea salt. Let stand until caramel is set. Use paper to lift brownies from pan; cut into squares.

Potato Chip Brownies
  1. Prepare and bake Best-Ever Brownies as directed. Remove brownies from oven.
  2. While warm, top brownies with 6 milk chocolate candy bars. When melted, spread chocolate to cover brownies. Top with slightly crushed potato chips. Cool brownies as directed. Use paper to lift brownies from pan; cut into squares. Drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving.

S'Mores Brownies
  1. Prepare and bake Best-Ever Brownies as directed. Remove brownies from oven.
  2. While warm, top brownies with 6 milk chocolate candy bars. When melted, spread chocolate to cover brownies. Spread mini marshmallows evenly on top. Preheat broiler.
  3. Broil brownies 4 inches from heat for 15 to 30 seconds or until marshmallows are lightly brown. Immediately sprinkle with broken graham crackers. Cool brownies as directed. Use paper to lift brownies from pan; cut into squares.
