A smooth and creamy cheesecake-style mixture layered over crunchy granola and bright citrus fruit for an easy, refreshing dessert.

Ingredients

2 (8-ounce) packages ⅓-less-fat cream cheese

2 (5.3-ounce) containers nonfat honey Greek yogurt or vanilla Greek yogurt

¼ cup agave nectar plus additional, if desired for serving

1 teaspoon almond extract

¾ cup low-fat granola

Sliced oranges, clementines and/or candied kumquats

Directions

  1. In a food processor, combine cream cheese, yogurt, ¼ cup agave nectar and almond extract. Cover and process until smooth, scraping sides of bowl as needed. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours.
  2. Place granola in a resealable plastic bag. Using the smooth side of a meat mallet or a rolling pin, crush any large chunks of granola. Divide granola among six dessert plates or bowls.
  3. Spoon ½ cup cream cheese mixture over top of each, then top with citrus fruit. If desired, drizzle additional agave nectar over top.
