Chicken Caesar Pizza

A crisp, golden pizza crust layered with juicy Caesar chicken, fresh vegetables, and gooey cheese, delivering a savory and satisfying combination of flavors.

Ingredients

1 cup warm water

½ teaspoon granulated sugar

1 package active dry yeast

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

¼ teaspoon salt

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup whole wheat flour

2 cups chopped cooked chicken

⅓ cup light Caesar salad dressing

1 28-ounce can whole tomatoes, well drained

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 cup packed torn spinach leaves

Sliced red bell pepper

8 ounces (2 cups) shredded Italian blend or mozzarella cheese

Vegetable oil for brushing (optional)

Directions

  1. In a large bowl combine water and sugar; sprinkle yeast over water. Let stand 5 minutes or until bubbles begin to appear. Stir in oil and salt. Stir in flours until combined. Knead about 3 minutes or until dough is smooth. Cover; let rise for 10 to 60 minutes.
  2. In a medium bowl combine chicken and Caesar dressing. Cover and chill until ready to use.
  3. With clean hands, break up tomatoes into bite-size portions and place in a bowl; stir in oregano.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F. Punch dough down. Roll out to an 18-inch round; center on a lightly greased 15-inch pizza pan. Spread tomatoes over dough, leaving juice in bowl. Top with spinach and chicken. Top with red pepper slices and cheese. Fold outer 1½ inches of dough over toppings. For a crisp, brown crust, brush lightly with oil.
  5. Bake about 20 to 25 minutes or until crust and cheese are golden brown.
