Stir cocoa powder into the chilled egg yolk mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Just before serving, place whipping cream in a small mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer, fitted with the whisk attachment, on medium until soft peaks form. Add vanilla and salt; beat until stiff peaks form; set aside.
Fold beaten egg whites for Holiday Eggnog into the chocolate eggnog milk mixture.
To serve, ladle eggnog into 8 (8-ounce) mugs. Top with dollops of whipped cream. Garnish with white chocolate curls, if desired.
