Chocolate Ganache Tart

A luscious chocolate ganache tart with a buttery graham crust and velvety dark chocolate filling—finished with fresh berries and mint for a stunning, decadent finale.

Ingredients

1½ cups finely crushed chocolate graham crackers

⅓ cup granulated sugar

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

16 ounces chopped dark chocolate (60% cacao)

2 cups heavy whipping cream

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon salt

Fresh strawberries, raspberries and/or blueberries, for garnish

Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. For crust, in a large bowl combine crushed graham crackers and sugar. Stir in melted butter. Press into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch-round tart pan with a removable bottom.
  2. Bake for 7 minutes or until set. Cool on a wire rack.
  3. Place dark chocolate in a large bowl; set aside. In a small saucepan bring heavy whipping cream to boiling. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Pour cream mixture over dark chocolate; add salt. Whisk mixture until chocolate and cream are well combined.
  4. Remove side from tart pan. Pour chocolate mixture into cooled tart shell. Cool until chocolate is set. Transfer tart to a serving platter. Garnish with berries and mint leaves, if desired.
