Domino Brownies are ultra-rich, fudgy chocolate brownies baked to perfection and topped with luscious cream cheese frosting. Ideal for gatherings, special occasions, or satisfying any chocolate craving, these brownies are a crowd-pleaser with every bite.

Ingredients

2¼ cups all-purpose flour

¾ teaspoon baking soda

¾ teaspoon salt

3¼ cups granulated sugar

¾ cup butter

3 tablespoons water

6 ounces unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped

3 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

4 tablespoons butter, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2¼ cups confectioners’ sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Liberally spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
  2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl; set aside.
  3. Combine sugar, butter and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to boiling. Stirring constantly, boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add chocolate; stir until melted. Cool briefly.
  4. Stir in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Add flour mixture and stir well. Spread batter in prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 35 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out with a few crumbs attached. Cool brownies in pan on a wire rack. While brownies cool, prepare Cream Cheese Frosting. Spread or pipe frosting on cooled brownies.
Cream Cheese Frosting
  1. Combine cream cheese, butter and vanilla in a medium bowl; beat until creamy.
  2. Gradually beat in confectioners’ sugar until smooth.
