Creamy, tangy goat cheese gets a beautiful upgrade in these Floral Goat Cheese Balls. Rolled in crushed pink peppercorns and topped with colorful edible flowers, this simple yet elegant appetizer pairs perfectly with crisp crackers or fresh bread for a visually striking and delicious start to any meal.

Ingredients

1 (8-ounce) package goat cheese, at room temperature

2 teaspoons crushed pink peppercorns, divided

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ cup organic edible radish flowers

Crackers, for serving

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl combine goat cheese, 1 teaspoon crushed peppercorns and black pepper. Using lightly greased hands, form mixture into a 1-inch-thick round disk. Sprinkle with remaining 1 teaspoon crushed peppercorns. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until chilled.
  2. To serve, top with flowers. Serve with crackers.
Oregano Floral Cheese Ball
  1. Substitute chopped fresh oregano for the pink peppercorns and top cheese ball with a mix of organic edible dianthus blooms, pepper flowers and/or star flowers.
