Summer 2010
These pineapple-orange icy pops blend juicy crushed pineapple with orange-pineapple juice for a bright, tropical frozen dessert that’s simple, refreshing, and perfect for hot days.

Recipe Information

Total Time:
Yield:
8 frozen pops

Ingredients

1 8.25-ounce can crushed pineapple, undrained

1½ cups orange-pineapple juice or orange juice

8 4- to 6-inch wooden sticks

Directions

  1. Divide undrained pineapple among eight 3-ounce frozen pop molds, using 2 tablespoons for each. Pour orange-pineapple juice over top. Using a skewer, gently stir mixture to combine. Cover each mold with foil, then make a small slit in the center of each foil cover. Insert wooden sticks through foil. Freeze at least 4 hours or until firm.
  2. To serve, remove pops from freezer; let stand for 5 minutes. Remove pops from molds.
