Ingredients
Nonstick cooking spray
1 cup Kamut flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup cold butter
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400ºF. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine Kamut flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder and salt. With a pastry blender, cut in butter to form pea-size crumbs. Stir in milk and chives just until dry ingredients are moistened.
- Spoon batter into 8 mounds onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.
