Yield:
12 servings (½ cup each)

Ingredients

2 cups fresh-pressed pasteurized 100% apple cider

2 cups 100% tart cherry juice

2 cups fresh orange juice

2 cups water

1 medium pomegranate, split in half

½ cup pomegranate arils

1 lemon, thinly sliced; plus additional for garnish

6 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks

8 whole cloves

4 whole star anise, plus additional for garnish

4 hibiscus tea bags with rose, cinnamon and cloves

Fresh tarragon, for garnish

Directions

  1. In a 4-quart stockpot or Dutch oven, combine apple cider, cherry juice, orange juice, water, halved pomegranate, pomegranate arils, 1 thinly sliced lemon, cinnamon sticks, cloves and 4 whole star anise.
  2. Bring juice mixture to a simmer over medium-high heat; reduce heat. Add tea bags; cover and gently simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags.
