Ingredients

½ recipe Shortbread Pastry

1 recipe Crème Pâtissière

45 to 60 washed and stemmed strawberries

½ cup strawberry jam

2 tablespoons water

Confectioners’ sugar

Directions

  1. Place pastry shell on serving platter; spoon in crème pâtissière; top with strawberries.
  2. Warm jam; thin with water to make a glaze. Dust with confectioners’ sugar. Chill for 30 minutes; serve. Refrigerate leftovers.
