Ingredients
2 cups granulated sugar, divided
½ cup water
½ cups fresh or frozen cranberries
Directions
- In a small saucepan bring ½ cup sugar and water to boiling. Remove from heat and cool.
- Place remaining 1½ cups sugar in a rimmed baking pan. Stir cranberries into the cooled sugar liquid; toss until coated. Remove cranberries, in small batches, with a slotted spoon, then roll in the sugar to coat. Place coated cranberries on waxed paper; let dry at least 1 hour before using.
