Very Berry and Tropical Delight Ice Creams offer two refreshing flavors in one simple recipe. Made with a rich milk and cream base, then swirled with either fresh raspberries or a blend of mango and pineapple, this homemade ice cream is creamy, fruity, and perfect for summer indulgence.
Ingredients
8 cups whole milk
4 cups heavy cream
2 tablespoons vanilla
3 cups sugar
2 cups fresh raspberries OR 1 cup chopped frozen mango pieces PLUS 1 cup canned pineapple
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl combine milk, cream, vanilla and sugar. Fill ice cream freezer with milk mixture and freeze according to ice cream freezer instructions.
- When freezing is complete, stir in mango and pineapple or the raspberries. Transfer ice cream to covered plastic freezer containers. Freeze (to ripen) for several hours.
