Very Berry and Tropical Delight Ice Creams offer two refreshing flavors in one simple recipe. Made with a rich milk and cream base, then swirled with either fresh raspberries or a blend of mango and pineapple, this homemade ice cream is creamy, fruity, and perfect for summer indulgence.

Ingredients

8 cups whole milk

4 cups heavy cream

2 tablespoons vanilla

3 cups sugar

2 cups fresh raspberries OR 1 cup chopped frozen mango pieces PLUS 1 cup canned pineapple

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine milk, cream, vanilla and sugar. Fill ice cream freezer with milk mixture and freeze according to ice cream freezer instructions.
  2. When freezing is complete, stir in mango and pineapple or the raspberries. Transfer ice cream to covered plastic freezer containers. Freeze (to ripen) for several hours.
