This avocado ranch spread combines creamy avocado with tangy Greek yogurt, buttermilk, and fresh herbs for a light, refreshing twist on classic ranch. Smooth and herbaceous, it’s a versatile addition to any meal or snack.

Ingredients

¾ cup plain Greek yogurt

½ cup buttermilk

1 avocado, seeded, peeled and cut up

2 tablespoons finely chopped Italian parsley, plus additional for garnish

2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh dill, plus additional for garnish

1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1 clove garlic, peeled

½ teaspoon coarse kosher salt

½ teaspoon coarse-ground black pepper, plus additional for garnish

Directions

  1. In a food processor, place yogurt, buttermilk, avocado, 2 tablespoons parsley, 2 tablespoons dill, chives, lime juice, garlic, salt and ½ teaspoon pepper. Cover and process until smooth and creamy.
  2. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator up to 2 days. Garnish with additional pepper and additional parsley and dill.
