Berry Brownie Pizza

A rich brownie base topped with creamy frosting and a medley of fresh berries, finished with a dusting of confectioners’ sugar for a colorful, decadent dessert pizza.

Ingredients

1 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

1⅔ cups granulated sugar

6 tablespoons butter

1½ tablespoons water

3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 recipe Cream Cheese Frosting

1 cup sliced fresh strawberries

¾ cup fresh blueberries

1 cup fresh raspberries

Confectioners’ sugar for dusting

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan combine sugar, butter and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add chocolate and stir until melted. Allow to cool briefly.
  3. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour mixture to saucepan; stir well.
  4. Spread batter onto parchment-lined cookie sheet or pizza stone to ½ inch thick. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until set. Cool on a wire rack. Spread Cream Cheese Frosting over crust and top with sliced strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. Dust with confectioners’ sugar.
