Oven-roasted chickpeas with garam masala create a crunchy, savory snack that’s easy to make and full of flavor.

Ingredients

1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons salt-free garam masala seasoning

Coarse kosher salt, to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.  Line a large rimmed baking pan with parchment paper; set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss chickpeas with olive oil. Add garam masala; toss until coated evenly. Transfer to prepared baking pan.
  3. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown, shaking the pan occasionally. Season to taste with salt.
