Spring Blossom Punch

A bright and refreshing slushy punch blending fruit and lemonade concentrates with sparkling lemon-lime soda, garnished with delicate edible flowers for a festive presentation.

Ingredients

4½ cups water, divided

1 cup sugar

½ (12-ounce) can frozen fruit punch concentrate, thawed

½ (12-ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed

2 (2-liter) bottles lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled

Edible flowers, for garnish

Directions

  1. For simple syrup, in a medium saucepan combine 1½ cups water and the sugar. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool for 1 hour.
  2. In a large bowl, combine concentrates and 3 cups water. Stir in simple syrup.
  3. Add mixture to a 13×9×2-inch baking pan. Cover and freeze mixture about 6 hours or until completely frozen, stirring after 2 hours and then after every hour.
  4. Just before serving, break up mixture with a fork until slushy. Transfer slush mixture to a large punch bowl. Slowly add lemon-lime beverage. Sprinkle edible flowers on top.
