A bright, zesty chimichurri sauce blending fresh herbs, garlic, and tangy vinegar for a flavorful, herbaceous accompaniment to meats, vegetables, or grain bowls.

Ingredients

1 (3-ounce) bunch Italian parsley, trimmed

½ (2-ounce) bunch cilantro, trimmed

1 clove garlic, finely chopped

¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper

⅛ teaspoon salt

¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. In a food processor combine parsley, cilantro, garlic, red pepper and salt.
    Add oil and vinegar. Cover and pulse until smooth. Season to taste with black pepper.
